Editorial policy & corrections

This page explains what FlashFeed publishes, how our briefs are made, and how we fix mistakes.
What we publish
- Headlines from other publishers. Our front page and section pages show the headline and a short summary from each publisher's public news feed, with a clear link to the original article. Those articles belong to their publishers.
- FlashFeed Briefs. Short explainers written by FlashFeed. A brief is only written when several outlets are reporting the same story, and it lists every outlet it draws on.
- From the Editor. Longer notes and essays signed by the editor.
How a brief is made
- We pick a story that several trusted outlets are covering.
- We collect the facts those outlets report and write a fresh, short explanation with the help of AI.
- An automatic checker removes or rewrites any sentence that is too close to a publisher's wording, so we never copy their work.
- Briefs follow our topic rules: we cover entertainment, technology, sports, space, investing and crypto, and we do not publish briefs about politics, crime, disasters or other distressing news.
- Every brief shows its sources and a link to each original story, so you can always check the reporting yourself.
Accuracy and fairness
We only state what the listed outlets report, we do not add rumours, and we keep opinion out of news briefs. Money and crypto briefs are general news, never financial advice.
Pictures
We do not use photos owned by other publishers. Brief covers are our own cards and illustrations made for FlashFeed.
Corrections
If you find a mistake in one of our briefs, email support@flashfeednews.com with the link. We check every report, correct the brief as soon as possible and update its "Updated" time. For a mistake in another publisher's article, please contact that publisher.
Advertising
Advertising never decides what we cover. Any ads are clearly labelled "Advertisement" and kept apart from our stories.
